Excellent in terms of the ambience and food ! There were several things we tried out on the menu. What stood out for me was the Pork chilly fry with Goan Chorizo which was super succulent and flavourful. We also ordered their house special kebab and the Chakundar and Amaranth Galouti for starters which is more like beet root kebabs and what I found common between both the vegetarian and non-veg dishes is that the kebabs were incredibly soft, juicy with the spices cooked in perfectly. The highlight was definitely what we ordered for dinner- appam with Haleem, Pork Vindaloo and Raw mango prawn curry! I have only one word for the raw mango prawn curry- it is to die for!!! Don’t miss this out on the menu.I personally didn’t find the pork vindaloo to be distinctive and wouldn’t recommend it. It was a sharp contrast to the pork chilly we ordered. The Haleem was excellent too. Grinded to perfection, not too spicy, easy on the palette and a great balancer. Prices in Jamun are a tad bit on the higher side but it is totally worth it. We ordered a lot more than we came in for because as we kept trying their food, we knew we wanted more of it.

This place feels like a quiet tour of India. The food is authentically regional, the old-style crockery adds charm, and the music and ambiance are warm and thoughtful. It’s more than just a meal, it’s was a whole dining experience, done right!

It was just a perfect evening courtesy of the ambience, the service and most importantly, good food at JAMUN. We were meeting someone who had come from Mumbai and I took it upon myself to order food that will be remembered. And Jamun didn't disappoint. Here's what we ordered: Dahi ke Sholay: extremely well cooked and flavorful. Chicken tikka kabab: the chicken was tender and so well done, charred the right amount and hit the tastbuds so well! Veg biryani: again, a good pick. (As reported by others) Champaran Chicken Curry: it was the good ol champaran chicken curry that wow'ed our guest and they had the perfect namak mirch Paratha to go with it! I must say that I'd have ordered the much talked about laal maas too but we had only as much appetite! Maybe next time :) It doesn't end here. They had the most interesting anardanas and paachaks served along with the bill! (See pic)

A cozy restaurant and bar in Lodi Colony offering a variety of vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and seafood dishes. The space comfortably accommodates around 30 guests, providing a relaxed ambiance complemented by good music. While the options for teetotalers are limited, there's a generous selection for alcohol enthusiasts. We tried the Dal Makhani, Ker Sangri Kofte, Tandoori Roti, and the Jamun Rass Cocktail – a delightful experience for the taste buds.

An amazing fusion food experience awaits those who visit Jamun. I had heard of this restaurant and that its origins were Goa, but the interiors could be anywhere - a very open design and feel which is comforting and homely The seating is abstract - no uniformity - this attracts me as in a home you do not have uniformity of seating if you have 20-25 guests. You pull in the dining chairs and the sofas, and the chairs from the study or even the executive chair from your desk. Anything that comforts. There were sofas, cane chairs and back rest chairs all to make it a comfortable experience So if you want fine dining you may be disappointed Coming to the layout - the tables are neat albeit small, and the cutlery is Copper. Wow. That’s a nice experience away from the regular China or ceramic plates we see nowadays The instruction to the waiter was ‘badi bhook lag hai, jaldi la do’ and that they did. We started off on a delectable pata chaat made of 5 different types of leaves. Yum. I generally avoid too much sweet so I thought they could have moderated the sweet in the yogurt. Plus The Chicken chettinad was succulent - a difficult task actually as the frying and spiciness must be maintained at the same time. Another Plus. I must mention the Beetroot and Amaranth Gelauti kebab which was yummy. The avocado taste added to the flavourful and palate tantalising, soft kebabs. Plus The main course arrived, it was a combination of Chicken Curry and Stew - hmm, the aroma was lovely and the taste was amazing. The rice was basic steamed but had a taste to it unlike most long grain ‘basmati GM’ types you tend to get. I wanted to ask them which rice they actually use. It was indeed nice. Plus again Overall, not only were the portions good, the taste and the palate sensations were indeed aroused Now the price point - it’s not inexpensive although for fine cuisine, I felt it reasonable and value for money. It is definitely well worth the happy mood you go away with Will go ba

It is very hard to find restaurants serving authentic Indian food these days, especially by people who are passionate about it, and want you to experience the food the same way. The service was excellent. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, all meats were ‘melt in mouth’. Ambience was great with soothing music in the background.

Wonderful!! Amazing food and ambience.. tried a few dishes and found all of them very nice and delicious.. Would definitely recommend Only drawback is that I found South Indian food better than North Indian food in the restaurant..so stick to South Indian dishes

Excellent food, warm service and a lovely, inviting ambiance with old school Bollywood music! We went back to Jamun for the first time in more than a year and had such a great experience. My kurkuri bhindi chaat was lipsmacking, as was my husband’s pork chilli fry. The dal makhani was exceptional and the flaky garlic naans were out of the world. Loved the papad platter and the little tray of mukhwas and candies after the meal! Will be back again soon!
